Peterson added to Icemen Staff
Evansville Icemen announced in a recent team press release, John Peterson, a native of Lake Elmo, MN had been named as the team’s Director of Media Relations & Broadcaster.
Previously, Peterson held the same position with the Austin Bruins of the NAHL, making the call right up to the Robertson Cup Championship last season as Austin won its division and went all of the way to the championship sereis.
In addition to his broadcast work in Austin, John Peterson has also done play by play for Arizona State University sports where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. He also has previous sales experience with the NHL’s Minnesota Wild where he was a part of the sales team setting a franchise record for total ticket revenue in the 2014-15 season.
