Knott released by Hawks.

Graham Knott saw his stint with the Chicago Blackhawks come to an end on Wednesday (Sept. 24) as the team released him from camp.

Knott, 18, from Etobicoke, ON was selected by the Hawks in the Second Round (54th Overall) of this past summer’s NHL Entry Draft. He will return for another season with the Niagara Ice Dogs of the Ontario Hockey League where last season he collected 43 points (25g, 18a) and 33 penalty minutes in 59 games.

With this latest cut, the Black Hawks training camp roster stands at 59 with 32 forwards, 21 defensemen and five goaltenders remaining.
