Storm alumni making presence felt in pro playoffs.

Kearney, Neb. (Courtesy Tri-City Storm) – Former Tri-City Storm standouts Pheonix Copley and Trevor Moore are set to start the second round of the AHL’s Calder Cup Playoffs Friday. The goalie Copley led the Hershey Bears to a do-or-die Game 5 win against rival Lehigh Valley with 28 saves on 30 shots to advance Sunday. Moore has a goal in four games for the Toronto Marlies and the squad is in Syracuse to face the Crunch this weekend.
In the NHL, Jaden Schwartz is tied for St. Louis Blues in playoff points lead (7). The Blues trail the Nashville Predators, 3-1, in the best-of-seven second-round series.
In the ECHL, four former Storm players (and former broadcaster Jared Shafran) are still alive.

South Carolina Stingray (Jared Shafran) leads Florida Everblades, 2-1.

Colorado Eagles (Kenny Brooks) leads Allen Americans, 2-0.
