Red Wings open in Traverse City with 72 players

The Detroit Red Wings opened its 2015-16 Training Camp on Thursday, Sept. 17 at the Center Ice Arena in Traverse City.

The 16th Annual Training Camp Golf Classic was the first official event followed by four days of on-ice practices and scrimmages and the first pre-sesason game for the Wings is scheduled for Sept. 22 at the United Center against the Chicago Blackhawks, different versions of the same teams will square off the following night at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
