Kirley to join North Iowa

The strong get stronger.

The NA3HL website announced today Todd Sanden, Head Coach has added Casey Kirley to his staff as an assistant coach.

Formerly an assistant coach and director of player personnel at Great Falls of the Frontier Division, Kirley also drafted as a player by the Kenai River Brown Bears in 2009. A native of Hayward Wisconsin, Kirley completed four years at nearby UW Stout where he was part of a WIAC championship team in his freshman year.

“Casey is a great hire and we look forward to adding his skill set to the Bull’s staff.  He has championship experience as a player and coach, most recently in the NA3HL with Great Falls, and that will help continue to drive the success of our team,” said Sanden in the press release on the NAHL website.

Sanden said he expects Kirley to fill a number of roles with the Bulls including work as a strength and conditioning coach and specifically working with the defense corps, improving skill development both on the ice and in the video room.
