Force Assistant, Rosendahl announces resignation

The Fargo Force today issued a press release on twitter, announcing the resignation of assistant coach Eli Rosendahl.

The release started Rosendahl, who first joined the Force for the 2015-16 season, beginning as the team’s Goaltender Coach, was pursuing other opportunities.

“It is a time for me, both personally and professionally to move on to the next phase of my life and career,” said Rosendahl in a release. “It is a bittersweet decision for myself and my family to be moving on from the Fargo Force Organization. I am so thankful to the Force, GM Eades, Head Coach Pierre-Paul Lamoureaux, current and past Assistant Coaches, front office staff, support staff and most importantly, all of the players I have had the opportunity to coach. I will always consider myself a part of the Fargo Force Family.”

Eades wished his former coach well while letting him know he would be missed.

“Although we are sad to see Eli leave our staff, we fully support his decision to pursue other opportunities,” said Eades. “As a coach with the Force, Eli had a huge impact on developing many NCAA D1 goalies, including Strauss Mann (Michigan); Matt Murray (UMass); Ryan Bischel (Notre Dame) and Cole Brady (AZ State). He also did a great job in scouting for us as well as developing our forwards and defensemen during practice.”

The organization also announced it will be actively looking to replace the assistant coach. Anyone interested in applying coach contact Eades at carye@fargoforce.com or Coach Lamoureaux at pierrel@fargoforce.com.
