Indy Fuel announces training camp roster
The Indy Fuel, East Coast Hockey League affiliate of both the Chicago Blackhawks and Rockford IceHogs, issued a press release Friday (Oct. 2) announcing both its pre-season roster and schedule.
The Fuel will start out a little light in both the defense (4) and goaltending (1) departments but expect reinforcements to arrive from Rockford soon.
There are 14 forwards on the pre-season roster, including three on tryout contracts. Listed below is the roster for Fuel as of Oct. 2 with players on tryout contracts in italics.
Forwards – Garett Bembridge, Rhett Bly, Pete Massar, Johnny McGuire, Matt White, Dylan Clarke, Alexandre Lavoie, Reed Seckel, Cody Sharib, Terrence Wallin, Walter Wintoneak, Tim Hall, Branislav Kost, Zack Larue.
Defense – Anders Franzon, Zach Miskovic, David Pszenyczny, Andy Simpson.
Goaltenders – Alex Fotinos
The team is scheduled to begin practice on Oct. 3 and will host the Fort Wayne Komets at Indiana Farmers Coliseum Oct. 7 with the Quad City Mallards rolling into town for a game on Oct. 11 as well. The team will open the 2015-16 ECHL regular season with a home game Oct. 16 against the Toledo Walleye.
