Hawks open camp with 63

The Chicago Blackhawks officially beganĀ preparing to defend its 2014-15 Stanley Cup with the opening of its 2015-16 Training Camp at University of Notre Dame at on Friday, Sept. 18.

After physicals, players were divided into one of three teams for scrimmaging over the weekend at both the Lefty Smith Rink and Olympic Rink on theĀ UND campus

Teams, identified simply as Team A, Team B and Team C practiced and scrimmaged with a weekend schedule that saw each team get into action four times.

The team was scheduled to move to the United Center on Monday (Sept. 21) with the start of its annual Training Camp Festival.
