Slavin playmaking efforts help Storm ‘White’ get past ‘Gray.’
Las Vegas, Nev. (Courtesy Tri-City Storm) – Josiah Slavin notched a pair of assists in 30 seconds during the third period to run Team White by Team Gray, 8-5, in the first Tri-City Storm All-Star Game Friday at the Las Vegas Ice Center.
Tied, 3-3, entering the third, Slavin dished his first helper to 2017 Phase II Draft selection Michael Maloney two minutes in and then found returner Brian Hawkinson to bust the game open. Maloney scored twice in the third. Adam Goodsir and Maxim Kouznetsov also scored in the third for White.
Ryan Roth scored twice for Team Gray. Roth played four games with Tri-City last season and had two assists. He is committed to St. Lawrence.

In cage for Team Gray, Yale commit Connor Hopkins made 15 saves in the opening 30 minutes and Joseph Sharib covered the rest of the game with 12 stops. Harrison Feeney (Team White) started the game with 14 saves and Jacob Barczewski finished with 14 denials.
